PPI CLAIMS DEADLINE
29th Aug 2019

Read more about the PPI deadline – 29th August 2019

To ensure that everyone that is entitled to claim back PPI has a chance to do so, the FCA has started a two-year public awareness campaign that started on 29th August 2017. Many experts have asked, “will this be sufficient time and reach vulnerable consumers?” As no more claims will be accepted by lenders after this date.

Martin Lewis, Consumerist, is strongly opposed to and criticised the FCA’s PPI deadline, he said “the deadline is a mistake” and went on TV to say, “it protects banks, not consumers,” he remains vehemently vocal on these points.
